Privacy policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

This policy explains how ēventūs.do handles personal data when you visit our website, get in touch or use our tools.

In short: we do not run ads or pay-per-click campaigns, we do not sell your data, and we only use the services listed below to run the site and respond to you.

1. Who we are

Our website address is https://eventus.do.

The website is run by ēventūs.do Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16474771. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.

For the personal data described in this policy, we are the data controller. That means we decide how and why the data is used.

2. What we collect and why

Website analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage our analytics tags, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics reports on things like the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location. We use this to improve the site and its content.

Analytics data is held in Google Analytics for 2 months, after which it is deleted.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website.

Forms and tools

Forms and tools on the site collect what you enter into them, such as your name, email address, message or answers to questions. Most forms are built with Forminator. Some custom forms and tools, including our Readiness Assessment, send their messages by email through a service called EmailJS.

We use this information to reply to you, to deliver anything you have asked for (such as a report), and to manage the conversation that follows. Some tools, such as the Readiness Assessment, score your answers automatically to produce that report.

Submissions made through Forminator are stored in the website's database and deleted after 30 days. The emails we receive from forms and tools are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you, and no longer than is necessary.

Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, delivering what you have asked for, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Embedded videos

Our videos are served by Vimeo. When a page containing a Vimeo video loads or plays, Vimeo may receive information such as your IP address and device details, and may set its own cookies. Vimeo acts under its own privacy policy, linked in section 4.

Comments and accounts

The website does not currently offer comments or visitor accounts, so we do not collect data for those purposes.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use a cookie banner. Our site sets a small number of cookies, listed below. Most are not strictly necessary for the site to work: the Google Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used, and Vimeo may set its own on pages with videos. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. If you would rather not have these cookies set, you can block them in your browser settings or use the opt-out below.

The cookies and similar technologies on our site are:

  • Google Analytics: the cookies _ga and ga* tell one visitor's visits apart and record how the site is used. They last up to 2 years.
  • Google Tag Manager: sets no cookies of its own. It loads our analytics tags.
  • Vimeo: sets its own cookies for video playback, preferences and analytics, only on pages that include a Vimeo video. Lifetimes are set by Vimeo.
  • Cloudflare: may set security cookies that help protect the site from bots and abuse. These are short-lived and set by Cloudflare.

Opting out of analytics: you can stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you using the site, though embedded videos may behave differently.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the website and respond to you, and only for those purposes.

We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid request from a court or regulator.

We do not receive personal data about you from third parties, other than the analytics reports Google provides about how the site is used.

5. Where we send your data

Some of the services above are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where your data is transferred abroad, we rely on those providers using an approved safeguard, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Analytics data: 2 months in Google Analytics.
  • Form submissions stored on the website: deleted after 30 days.
  • Emails and enquiries we receive: only as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any resulting relationship, and no longer than is necessary.
  • Records we must keep by law, such as accounting records for clients: for the period the law requires.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to erase your data, unless we need to keep it for legal, administrative or security reasons
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • object to us using your data where we rely on legitimate interests
  • ask for your data in a portable format, where it applies
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it

To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

8. How we protect your data

The website is hosted by Clook, served over HTTPS and sits behind Cloudflare. Access to the site's administration and to the data we receive is limited to the people who need it, and we work with reputable providers for hosting and email delivery.

9. Data breaches

If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights and freedoms at risk, we will report it to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. Where the risk to you is high, we will also tell you without undue delay.

10. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not make decisions about you that have a legal or similarly significant effect using automated means, and we do not build profiles of visitors for advertising.

Some of our tools, such as the Readiness Assessment, score your answers automatically to produce a report. The report is informational only, and no decision is made about you as a result.

11. Marketing emails

We do not currently send marketing emails. If we start, they will come only from eventus.do, we will update this policy, and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
